Welcome to our Family

"Welcome" is an often-used word that I have never given a lot of thought as to what it can actually mean. The dictionary defines the verb form as "greeting someone in a glad, polite, and friendly way." Also, the adjective form implies an action of acceptance with pleasure or gladly received, like having a "welcoming " atmosphere. We welcome our patients and parents to our practice but do not reserve this feeling for first impressions when you walk in the door. We also strive to create an environment that expresses a "welcoming atmosphere." We want a place where this "welcome" translates into a positive feeling that becomes a permanent part of the office's interactive nature.

The more I thought about it, the more I realized how very important it is to create an environment that communicates not just that we're glad to see you, but one that also conveys a feeling of respect, love, value, and positive expectations that extends to all that become a part of our "family." We want an office where people can have a "wow" experience. It is important to us that we constantly re-affirm the decision that brought you to our office in the first place, because we know you had choices, yet you chose us.

We constantly hear from our parents and patients how friendly and nice our office is. Clearly, there is something positive communicated by our team that transcends the initial "good to see you." When people feel "welcomed"... on every phone call... at every appointment... then a bond of trust develops that is so essential to providing a safe and comfortable environment that allows for a successful orthodontic experience.

At Kincaid Orthodontics, welcome is not just reserved for your initial greeting. We want our welcome to convey all of the positive expectations that are essential components to a successful relationship... like being a part of a family. So, again.... WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY.
